Bravissimo improves CX with launch of new website

Bravissimo delivers a boost to customer experience following the launch of a new eCommerce platform.

Bravissimo has redesigned its website to improve user experience and response times at peak times of the year.

The lingerie retailer sees 40% of its £50 million turnover generated from online, while the remaining sales come from its 26 UK stores.

The retailer partnered with Black Pepper Software to develop the new website in order to improve customer experience using test-drive agile practices. Black Pepper Software worked alongside Bravissimo’s in-house eCommerce team using the JavaScript/React/Node.js stack to re-platform the website. 

“The Black Pepper team are conscientious, professional and clearly know technology,” said Mike Tremellen, director at Bravissimo. “Teaching our internal team how to use an agile test based software development approach added real value to us internally.”

The new eCommerce site is also now scalable, allowing the retailer to further expand internationally in the future.

Josie Bryne, retail account director at Black Pepper Software, added: “Working with their development teams has enabled skills and knowledge to transfer across both organisations and this domain expertise will help Black Pepper to service Bravissimo’s needs on future projects.”
