Representatives from retailers such as Asda, Boots, B&Q, Dixons Carphone and Sainsbury's are confirmed to speak as part of the RBTE 2017 conference programme, which takes place 8-9 May in London.

There are four months to go until RBTE 2017, and the conference programme is filling up with speakers from many of Europe's largest retailers.

Representatives from businesses such as Asda, Boots, B&Q, Dixons Carphone and Sainsbury's are confirmed to speak at this year's RBTE, which takes place 8-9 May in London and is set to reinforce its position as Europe's largest end-to-end retail solutions event.

Among the bumper line-up, visitors to the event will be able to hear from: Rosalyn Potts, digital customer experience manager at Asda's George.com; Michael Durbridge, director of omnichannel at B&Q; Dave Robinson, head of personalisation at Boots; Kash Ghedia, head of technology at Dixons Carphone; Adam Bialy, head of payment technology/senior product owner for digital & technology at Sainsbury's.

All sectors of the retail industry will be represented on stage at the event, with speakers coming from John Lewis, Finery, Maplin, Morrisons, Tesco Labs, Toys R Us, Vodafone, Waitrose and many more. Founder and CEO of restaurant chain Tossed, Vincent McKevitt, and chief digital officer at foreign exchange company Travelex, Sean Cornwell, will also provide their insights into serving the modern consumer.

Paul Wilkinson, head of research at Tesco Labs, who is scheduled to speak at RBTE 2017 on internet of things technologies, commented: "It's always really interesting to hear from other retailers about the projects they're working on and how they are working on those initiatives."

The 2017 conference line-up will see two theatres running concurrently, covering generic themes of technology in retail. These will include sessions on multichannel retailing, customer experience technology, supply chain, eCommerce, loss prevention, international expansion and many more.

Following the successful running of the Payments Theatre in recent years, the 2017 edition of RBTE will once again host a conference theatre dedicated to payments technology and the innovations, security issues and developments going on in this space.

RBTE 2016 played out to packed conference theatres, and pre-registrations for 2017 are already high

The conferences will all be free to attend. Last year's sessions and the accompanying retail tech vendor exhibition, as well as the co-hosted Retail Design Expo and Retail Digital Signage Expo, helped attract 15,452 industry visitors over the course of two days in March.

RBTE 2017 takes place 8-9 May 2017 at London's Olympia.
