Wiggle-owned sports brand, Dhb, has deployed the use of photographic technology which allows customers to see its clothing products in extreme detail.
Dhb, which is available exclusively at Wiggle and Chain Reaction Cycles, is working with imaging specialist, SpinMe, to introduce high definition and 360 rotating product images. The photo techniques use optimised lighting and macros lenses to show fabric detail of its cycle, run and swim garments.
"We’re passionate about the quality of our garments and want to get across to new customers just how good the products are from a technical and aesthetic perspective,” said Claire Layfield, head of own brand marketing at WiggleCRC. "We recently introduced innovative new features throughout a Dhb best-selling Aeron shorts range, so intricate details of the fabric and improved performance design can now be seen with absolute clarity from all angles."
CEO of SpinMe, David Brint, described how the company uses robotic technology in order to take photos of products from different angles.
He added: "Dhb is using imagery to make a real point of difference to the brand. Our development team is investing more time in creating advanced ways of bringing products to life online, allowing shoppers to closely inspect merchandise. Getting a real insight into the fabrics and designs they will be ordering will help customers make the right purchase."
